Is my information and details safe?
Yes, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) all personal data about clients (i.e. names, dogs, addresses, phone numbers) is kept secured, only used for the reason it was collected, is kept up to date, etc.
Clients personal data is securely held in a locked and secured cabinet that is under our sole control
Mobile phones are secured by a pass code to prevent unauthorised access to clients’ phone details
Client details are not passed to a third party without their express permission to do so.
Client records are destroyed safely once they are no longer required (eg. the client has moved away and will no longer require our services, or we have not had any contact with a client for a period of 24 months or more).

Do you do a meet and greet?
Yes Meets & Greets are very important, so before I finalise any bookings with new clients a free meeting will be arranged so I can meet you and your pets.
I will send any required paperwork before this happens for you to fill in. If you struggle with this I can help you with this instead. I can also arrange to go on a walk with you if preferred.
What happens if there is an emergency?
During the meet and greet an emergency contact will be established as well as vet details. In the event of an accident or if your dog went missing you will be contacted first. If this is unsuccessful and if it is deemed that your pet needs medical attention then they will be taken to a vet for care and attention. Any vet costs will then be repaid by yourself as per contract.
What happens if I need to cancel?
If your dog is booked in for a walk and you need to cancel, please give 3 day notice and this payment will be returned to you.
If you have booked a pet sit, we ask for a 50% deposit to secure your dates & times. If you need to cancel, this deposit will be returned to you if we are given at least 3 days notice.
If I am sick the payment of a walk or sitting will be returned to you also.
